Light Drumming
One of my favorite adaptations for drumming interventions is to add an LED light strip to the underside of the drum. This is captivating for clients of all ages. I have done this with 40inch gathering drums as well as 10 inch frame drums. You can work with colors, drawing elegize and attention as well as creating a magical atmosphere.

One consideration to take into account is that lights can induce seizures if not controlled. I never utilize the music function on LED strip lights as they flash hazardously. I prefer to keep the light static on one color and switch when needed or choose a slow fade which allows the lights to ebb and flow from color to color in a calming manner.
Ideas for use:

Where I get my lights
I purchase my lights from Amazon typically because they have a wide array of LED light strips. Most come with remotes to control, some have smartphone control capabilities. There are different lengths, and some can be cut down to size. Some have different modes like static, fade, flash, chase.
